Longmont Baseball League 2009 Competitive Tryouts Announced

The Longmont Baseball League has announced general information and tryouts schedule for the 2009 Competitive Baseball program. General information about the program:
- Ages 9-14
- AA & AAA
- New teams forming
- Openings in all age groups
- Cost $400 – $600 (can be reduced with fundraising)
- League games played April through June
- Tournaments played on weekends
- Travel is involved
Competitive Tryouts will be held Saturday, February 14th, 2009 at Clark Centennial Park in Longmont as follows:
- 9 & 10 year olds – 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- 11 & 12 year olds – 12:30 PM to 2 PM
- 13 & 14 year olds – 2 PM to 3 PM
In case of poor weather, tryouts will be moved to Sunday, February 15th at Longmont Athletic Club at the same times.
